Back from a week at the beach!
What a wonderful week! We stayed at a friend's condo from last Sat. to today. It was 2 BR, kitchen, 1.5 bath - 1 block from the beach. We had our girls ages 7 & 3 and a friend's daughter who is 13.
The girls picked out something they wanted to do each day and we had a ball at everything we did. One night the 13 year old stayed with out girls and DH and I got to go out alone.
It was a relaxing time, everyone seemed to bond well - something that seems like it is hard to do in the day to day whirl. Dh and I got to talk some and it was great.
We played mini golf, went to the Pavilion (amusement park), the aquarium, Alligator Adventure and the zoo, and of course the beach. I got some great pictures of the girls on the beach - now I have to pick one for my Christmas card.
On the way home we found a 70's station and were riding down the road - all of us singing Shake your Bootie and YMCA! LOL!
Alas, it is back to the grind now.

Glad it was a blast for the whole family Cheryl. I would love to stay "on" the beach like that.
