Default We made it to our new home!!

Me, Malcom and Jacob arrived in Louisiana on Sunday afternoon before the storm hit here. We choose not to go to Florida to visit my family due to the storm. We were so sad not to visit with my family but safety came first and my parents and family completely understand.

We had no damage from the hurricane....we are further north near Alexandria. The devestation is unbelievable and they are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Our trip was great with perfect weather and Jacob was an angel the entire way. We are still unpacking which will take awhile. I love our new home!! I'm already thinking of the things I can do to redecorate.....all the walls are white and I need color!! But that will come in due time.

Malcom started working today and he was excited to get started. We have had a few stressful moments the past couple of days just trying to get settled and be in a new area and just being tired. But overall things are well.

I've got a lot of catching up to do around here at the village and plan to do a little at a time to catch up. I hope everyone is doing well. I'll send pictures of the house once I'm more organized. You really don't want to see pictures of boxes do you???

Glad to hear from you. I've been thinking about you since I knew you would be in one of those two states. Glad you didn't have any damage and glad that you and your 2 guys arrived safe and sound.

I'm so happy to hear that you don't have any damage from the storm. Thank goodness you're there safe and sound. Now, don't kill yourself getting settled. We'll wait as long as it takes for pictures.
