No gas in our town............(m)
.........I don't think I ever have seen gas stations with bags over the pump handles like this! Only one station still had gas at 10 am this morning. I had to wait 30 mins to get gas. I wouldn't have gotten any, but I was empty. And, it is well over $3 a gallon now.

There are some stations here that are running out... they say its because everyone panicked yesterday and put gas in everything they own...
We had already filled up a few days ago so we were good.... I was planning a trip to my parents this weekend but may have to put it on hold....
The gas stituation is just going from bad to worse...

The 2 pipelines that serve our area were out. I read that they both were up and pumping today, but sadly it seems gas sellers are taking advantage. DH told me that at some stations yesterday, the price changed as people were filling up!

Places here are running out. We were at Sam's this morning and saw one of the managers we know. The price was $2.69 and he said it was about to go to $2.78 PLUS they would run out completely before early afternoon. Dh quickly topped off my vehicle. He told us that BJ's Wholesale Club had already run out early this morning, which explains why they didn't have prices posted.
One place this morning had gas for $2.74 - when we came home it was $2.79. Other places were $2.89, $2.99, and $3.04!

My usual gas station was at 2.79 yesterday morning and 3.31 a few hours later (it cost $70 to fill up my van). This is just getting scary. I do what few absolutely necessary errands when I take my son to and from school (there is no one in my neighborhood to carpool with) and I go to school two nights a week. There is nothing within walking distance from my house other than a convenience store (inflated prices) and a couple of fast food restaurants. My husband finally got his payraise (a whopping $75 dollars after taxes) and it is all gone on gas. Plus it seems like the prices are going up on everything in the stores. Sorry to go on and on. I feel trapped in my house these days and am getting frustrated by being cooped up and worrying about money.

I filled up yesterday for 2.86/gal. It's up to 3/gal today. I'm also supposed to go out of town tomorrow, but I'm not sure. I'm worried that I'll get stranded there w/o being able to refill my van. This is a little frightening.

yikes! we had a .50 jump yesterday and a .20 drop today(it's currently 2.79)...the prices usually dip a little right before they really jack them up. Dh works for the co that owns the major convenience store chain in s. tx. and there really hasn't been any talk about the prices...or about raising the mileage reimbursement to their employees either, for that matter.........hope this doesn't get too bad, otherwise, the co will have alot of unhappy workers. i keep reading in the media that there is mass panic b/c of all of this, but I haven't seen it here.....maybe it hasn't hit this area yet........none of the stations have run out and there are no long lines..........did anyone hear about the gas station in atlanta georgia that was selling gas for 5.99 a gallon??? that is really sad that people do this to each other just to make a fast buck...the gov. signed an exect. order prohibiting gouging.....smart move.
