How much do I make?
Beats me!
When we left at the end of the school year last June, we hadn't settled our contract yet. They settled over the summer, so I was looking forward to going back today to see if I was one of the people who got a raise on the salary guide or if I did not. (Different steps took cuts in order to lengthen the guide, blah, blah, blah.)
Anyway, I get to school today...contracts are still at the printers! I won't know until next week!
Aaargh!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, Amy. Good teachers are worth their weight in gold.

Amy,
I know the feeling. We were without a contract last year. We've also taken several pay freezes.
Our medical prescription copays increase. We will now pay $10 for generic and $20 for name brand. We ended up getting a 1% retroactive increase for last year, and a 2.5% increase for this year. It's not much, but people were very happy to get the 2.5% increase.
