Ok before the hurricane, and all the gas prices rose, Oregon had one of the HIGHEST prices for gasoline... Now we have the third LOWEST prices on gasoline averaging 2.88 a gallon for regular... We are only behind Alaska and Louisiana.. Louisiana got a huge break on the gas there...AAA is suspecting that it is because Oregonians did not all rush to the gas stations and create price gouging in the state.. Right now at the local AM/PM (Arco), the price of regular gas is 2.79, plus 2.89 and premium 2.99 a gallon.. Just heard about this on the radio this morning and wanted to "brag" about our state gas price average... LOL... Believe me I thought that we would be the first state to have the huge increase on gas, but luckily that is not the case....
