ULTIMATE CHOPPER, LLC is requesting that its customers inspect their Ultimate Chopperâ„¢ food processor for potential failure of the interlock assembly. Ultimate Chopper, LLC is conducting a voluntary recall to replace units that are found to have an inoperable interlock assembly.

Consumers are advised to remove the lid and the blade assembly to test the unit to see if it will operate when the lid is off. If the unit turns on after the lid is removed, consumers are requested to stop using their machine and contact the company between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday at (800) 819-6297, to receive a free replacement unit.

Consumers are also advised to inspect the blade assembly for cracks, breakage, or signs of significant wear. If blade assemblies are worn, damaged or broken for any reason, consumers are requested to stop using the blade assemblies and contact the company between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday at (800) 819-6297, to receive a free (plus S&P) replacement blade assembly.

I'm not sure if anyone has one of these or not but I bought mine from QVC last year, also got the blender attachment also Chef Tony was selling them @ a better price than the infomercial price.

It does a good job chopping up stuff for Ma especially much more easier than the KA to take outta the house while visiting relatives for the Holidays. I've grinded up egg shells for my garden kinda making them into a powder & mixed them w/the coffee grinds.
