I waited 2 hr 15 min for a bus that never came
Lauren and I had to wait on a street corner for 2 hr 15 min for a bus to take us to her kindergarten orientation. It never showed, and we missed the orientation.
It's a good thing I already like that school a lot because I was NOT happy at all.

Yes, I am sure I had the date right. Another family was left out as well.
I called the school after we waited for an hour, and the office secretary told me that it should be there soon. So we waited for another hour. Then I called the school again, and the orientation had just ended.
I drove L there to meet her teacher and see the classroom, but the point of the bus ride was to familiarize her with riding the bus to school.

Poor Lauren. It's such a shame she missed out on the orientation. I'm glad you took her in and let her meet her teacher and see the classroom. Did you let the air out of the bus tyres when you left the school?

I'm sorry. Hope she wasn't too upset
