Question Don't ya just hate it when you feel like all you get done is run in circles?

I had great intentions for the day BUT it was just one interruption after another. I got 5 loads of laundry done, still not put away...., colored my hair and did my nails but otherwise I didn't really accomplish anything to speak of. I'm soooo aggravated. I wish I could ever just learn to go with the flow instead of being so miffed when I don't get my "to-do's" done. Does anyone else feel the same way when you have things you want to do and don't get it done?

It seems like I'm having a lot of those days where I don't really feel productive. Now, I'm telling myself that if I can get some basics done, I've done OK. I might sound like a slug, but my recent days include making the bed, straightening up the main living areas, dinner and clean up, a load or two of laundry, transporting kids to/from activities and dealing with homework issues. I try to walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes a day if I can. I do shower and put makeup on every day, too. Isn't that enough?

You got some stuff done! That pouty face isn't going well with your clean laundry, ooh la la hair & spiffy nails. Stuff will still be there when the distractions are gone and you look marvelous!

I know the stuff will still be here....that's the problem.... I'm over my aggravation now though. I was just feeling frustrated....silly, I know.

Not silly. It's just the way it goes sometimes.

I'm beyond caring about housework. I do it when I'm ready to. I'm glad you got your hair and nails done.
