Walmart

Is there any way to tell what groceries are on sale at Walmart? We don't get a sales ad, and I like to have my coupons ready before I go. Otherwise I have to take all of them, and it takes forever to go shopping. Walmart is the cheapest place around here for me to get my groceries. I get produce at farm stands. TIA

Nope, no way to tell iwhtout actually going there. Since they generally price match, though, you can get ahold of your other ads and see what they have on sale- Walmart will only match if there is an actual price listed in the ad- no B1G1 or percent off, and I don't think the price match fresh products like produce or meat since thy often aren't branded. You can get you coupons ready based on what is on sale at other stores. I just take all of mine, and put the ones I prepare ahead of time in the front, then have the others in case I stumble onto a great price on something lse.

I think some walmarts do price match on produce and some meat. I was behind a woman a couple of weeks ago who had a stack of sales papers with her and know that she got some veggies and a pork roast at the prices listed in the sales paper.

You may be right about that- I think if I actually took the papers in, I might know, but our WM generally has all the prices already matched on the shelves for everything else. so I don't know. The other grocery store I shop is only about a mile away, and their produce and meat is better, so I just bite the bullet and drive the extra couple miles (round trip.)

I wish my local walmart already had the prices matched. I was behind that woman forever while she sorted through her papers.
