My DH is a captain for the Sacramento Metro Fire Dept. He has been with the Dept. for 30 years and will retire in December of 2005. I am a retired teacher. I taught for over 25 years. I also ran children's programs and directed private schools.

    Hi ladies,

    Mind if I join in??

Both DH and I work from home in the internet business. I do the HTML side of things and he does the programming. Before we moved back to the states (I was living in England with him), he was a self employed Programmer / Analyst (and a darned good one if I say so myself! )

    Have a great day everyone!

My dh is a machinist. His shop makes machine parts for all the steel mills and factories in our area (and he just got a raise, woohoo! ).

He comes home with all these metal shavings on his clothes and boots and it is NOT FUN when you step on them in your bare feet.

well, my hubby is a teacher at a local high-school. he did work as a news videographer for 8 years (5 of which were in cincinnati, ohio). then in 2001, he gave that up to teach radio/tv at the high-school. we moved back home to indiana. he has totally turned the program around at the school. it was almost non-existent. i am so proud of him! i was working as a medical records clerk, till we moved back to indiana in july 2001. now i am a sahm. it is harder than my out of home job!!!
