Maybe a repeat question
What does your dh do for a living? Mine is a salesman, works for himself. It offers us a lot of flexibility for most of the time and the money isn't too bad.

My DH is a heavy equipment operator. He was born into it, so it's all he knows. His parents sold out, so now he works for someone else. He digs basements, mostly; but has also dug pools, driveways, backfilling, etc. He is very good at what he does and I think his talent is being wasted on an unappreciative boss.

Mine does heating/air conditioning. he has been doing this for over 20 years.
During the summer I don't see him much. he works about 90 hours a week. We have been having temps in the high 90's and low 100's here so he is always working. After 16 years I'm still not used to it. In the winter if it gets really cold it is the same thing.

Mine is a Technical Support Manager for Quest Software in Irvine. He loves his job and hopes to be there for a very long time.
Many people freak when I say Quest--it has no relation to the Qwest Communications that has been having all those problems.
I work for an Orthotic and Prosthetic Company in the administrative office. Our patient care centers traet people who need orthotic braces, prosthetic limbs, etc. I am on the paperwork side of it.

My Dh is an estimator for an industrial woodworking company--When universities or big companies are redoing entire floors or buildings in Manhattan he estimates what the woodwork will cost. I didn't think much of it til a guy he worked with forgot to add in the estimate on the doors on a project, and the company had to "eat" $120,000.
I supervise a training center for adults with multiple hadicaps.

My dh is a lawn tech. It's kind of like the Orkin man. He speads and sprays chemicals on lawns, or he grows grass for a living, lol.
Me, I'm an RN and I do the state required assessments at a nursing home, and write plans of care.

My dh is a truck driver, but right now he is on workmans comp. due to a back injury from moving some freight and has been working in the office for awhile now.
