What do you enjoy about the fall season?
I love the colors that surround me when I'm out and about.
I love that the gardening season is finished and I can now enjoy the fruits of my labour.
I love that I have more time to quilt.
This season (along with winter) is the time we get to see the Northern Lights. There is nothing quite so spectacular as going outside and watching them dance.
I love that the bugs are mostly gone and I can enjoy nice long walks without being bothered by mosquitoes buzzing around my head.
I love watching the farmers harvest their fields.
These are only a few.

CJ I'm one of the ones that hates to see summer end so there is not much I enjoy about fall ---- other than getting rid of the pesky biting bugs.
I figure I must have a long repressed bad memory about fall that makes it distasteful for me.....LOL. Maybe too many new schools in too many new towns since we moved a lot while I was growing up. Who knows.~~Jean~~

I love the fall foliage, the crisp air, the crunch of leaves under my feet, wearing sweaters, drinking hot chocolate (without sweating!). The apples, the pumpkins, soups & stews....

All the above plus indoor & outdoor fires.
Oh one more~ getting comfy & cozy nice and early since it gets dark at a reasonable hour. I've been known to wear my nice warm comfortable pj's to the dinner table.

I love Fall for the changing leaves, Fall festivals, apples and cider, long skirts and sweaters, cozy nights watching a movie with a blanket, hiking, homemade stews and chowders, making Christmas gifts, lighting candles, pumpkins, blustery days, baking treats, brisk walks and settling in.

The fall temps and the colors of fall! I love to watch the season change as the leaves turn and fall to the ground.

I LOVE FALL! It is my favourite season. On the west coast we get these beautiful indian summers. It is nice enough for the beach during the day and cool in the evening. Love it.

the sunny days, the colours, the cooler weather at night, the windy days. No bugs is definitely a plus. The last grumpy wasps of summer are too cold and sluggish to do much.

The end of the season for blood sucking, biting, people bombing MOSQUITOS
. They have been horrid here and now that the evenings are cooler, we can finally enjoy our new deck without getting eaten up.

The crisp air, the first fire in the fireplace of the season, new crop of apples, Crock Pot meals (stew...drooooooool...), and being able to walk without sweating BUCKETS on a speed walk!
