What do ketchup & bath water have in common?
....they are BOTH on my floor. Amanda was making a sandwich (she is the chef - usually ketchup & cheese, sometimes baked beans and jelly) and, as she put it "I accidentally threw the ketchup bottle and it broke!"
Now we are talking the giant economy size bottle of ketchup - all over my floor, her feet, her clothes. All Katie could say when she saw it was EWWWWWW! Thanks for the help.
So, I drag her upstairs and throw her (not literally mind you) into the bath where she proceeds to swim and "make waves" all over the bathroom floor.
I told DH he was going to have to make a bunch of french fries tonight in the Fry Daddy and sit on the kitchen floor and eat them so we don't waste the kitchen.
Remind me again how cute they are at 3??????

my three y/o thought it would be easier for me to read my book with the pages all laid out on the floor... separate from the book itself. She came up with this idea while i was in another room cleaning an explosive diaper mess. And she did it while the 5 y/o watched and didn't try to stop her.

My now five year old dd did something similar with shampoo once. She had the stuff all over herself the bathroom floor. It was hilarious to watch her trying to get up and keep slipping and falling back down until it was time to clean the stuff up. The shampoo just kept foaming and it took a lifetime to clean it all up. It was probably the cleanest the bathroom has even been. And I'm with Missy on having your kids stand by and watch another do something and not doing anything at all the stop it.
