How nice
Mark and his college roomate Joe were in the grocery line of a store near their college the other day. They had a bout 24 packages of ramen and a half dozen boxes of mac & cheese (gourmet food of college kids everywhere, lol) on the belt and were awaiting their turn. Well the lady in front of them told the cashier she wanted to pay for their purchases too. The boys were amazed and thanked her profusely. She said "I have grandchildren that went through college, I know what its like".
Wasn't that so nice?

A similar situation happend to me my freshman year of college; however the man was dead drunk and it was Superbowl Sunday. I'm not sure if it was kindness or Coors!

I think it's so kind and generous. It's nice to hear this and know there are sweet people spreading joy in the world.

Earlybird, Hoping he's picking those veggies when he's in line at the cafeteria.
Glad I could make this raok spread a bit more
So neat how one person can do something for someone else & the smile just ripples because they told someone and so on....
