Hello from The City of Trees
I guess I should introduce myself too. I've been lurking for quite a while now....
I'm Cathy, 47, SAHW living in Idaho. We have two grown girls. Odd 24, married with two adorable boys, 4 and almost 2. Ydd just turned 23 and is due home from her tour in Iraq in a month!!! She's been gone almost 18 months....I miss her so much it hurts.
Dh works in upper RX management for a large retailer. He travels some, but his hours are good and we have lots of time together.
I've been frugal forever, raised by very financially responsible parents, and so was dh. So...we've always been on the same page about $$$.
I have lots of hobbies. Sewing, quilting, gardening, decorating....all that domestic stuff :-) Dh has more hobbies than I can list, but he's also great at home repair, auto repair, etc. And can fix or build pretty much anything!

Welcome Cathy. Please give your dd a big thank you for her service. My dh just returned from a 10 day trip oversees (related to our church) and it was so hard to leave him at the airport. We discussed then how much much harder it would have been if he were leaving to serve in Irag or other areas of conflict. So glad for you that she'll be home soon!
