Winter Weather
I read on CNN yesterday that the U.S. weather people are predicting a 60% chance of a warmer winter in the mid-west. Did anyone else see this? That's wonderful news considering that natural gas is expected to go up 60%.

I heard that as well for the Canadian Prairies and I'm very thankful!!! So far, we have only put the heat on in the morning to take the chill out of the air and it's mid October!!!

Marcia, last night our local weatherman did a 6 weeks prediction and he looks for a warmish Fall. I hope it is true about the entire winter!

I'd like to believe this, but our heat has been on already a few times here in MI.

don't know about the midwest, but the weather dudes over where dh works were predicting a colder than usual winter for us, and to keep an eye out for at least one more big tropical storm. thought tammy might have been teh storm since he told me this before she came through.
dh works at nasa and the weather dudes as i call them work in the atmospheric reseach building.

Well, I sure hope it is a little warmer. It would be nice if it wasn't so frigid cold here. Hmmm...if the winter is warmer, doesn't that mean more snow????
