What are your weekend plans?
Since it finally stopped raining here we are taking the girls to the pumpkin patch. It is our fall family tradition. We go, take a hayride to the patch and the petting zoo. The girls get to pick their own pumpkin, and then back on the hayride for some fresh apple cider.
What's going on in your neck of the woods?

It's supposed to rain through Sunday
I'm hoping it lets up enough to get outside on Saturday & mulch the small branches from the tree dh cut down last weekend. We'll use that to mulch the flower beds around the house.
Saturday is also youngest ds's last day of t-ball. We also need to finish putting up the inner storms upstairs & on the back porch.
Sunday we are selling at a Toy Show $$$

We're giving my grandparents a 50th Anniversary reception tomorrow. But I'm not sure what's going on today or Sunday. We might go see my youngest sister promote in Tae Kwon Do. I'd love to take the girls to a pumpkin patch but I don't think that's going to happen this weekend.

Once I get home from work I am going to start a lot of laundry (All my fall type clothes that have been boxed up)
Tomorrow I have to work (9-5) and will have Paige with me here so I am going to also get a diaper bag ready with toy's food bottles etc, and go on and put it in the car.
I'm also going to bring some of my scrapbook stuff with me to work so I will have something to do to pass the time since Saturday's tend to be a little on the slow side.

Kristel & I wear planning on going to the Oyster Bay Oyster Festival
http://www.antonnews.com/oysterbayen...ysterfest.html
http://cityguide.aol.com/longisland/...p?evid=1720525
In keeping with its name, Oyster Bay is an enclave enamored of its shellfish. Part of fresh oysters' appeal, in particular, lies in the difficulty of procuring and preparing them. Though dredgers are more common than divers these days, harvesting oysters is at best an obscure and exhausting activity -- but it's a picnic compared to shucking them, which is a chore that leaves those new to it with raw skin, salted wounds and a newfound respect for the kitchen staffs at coastal restaurants. Few novices will brave the buckets at the annual Oyster Bay Oyster Festival, a two-day celebration pitting ambitious shuckers against more than 50,000 unsuspecting oysters. Over 200,000 natives and tourists are expected to suck down these raw delights, while feasting on bivalves in a variety of preparations. In addition to the cutthroat shucking contest, the festival offers attractions including a food promenade, a 5K run, an oyster eating competition, a children's entertainment area and an exhibit of historic boats.

My usual household cleaning/organizing never gets done, grocery shopping, etc.

Gonna finish the dusting in the dining room and mop the floors if my back will work with me.... . Plan to clean the bathrooms as well. Dd#2 is coming home tomorrow and I haven't done a thing all week. On Sunday we're going to winterize around here, hopefully finish up for the year.

Have the kids home this weekend and Mark & I have a little bit of shopping to do and then we'll all be together for dinner and a nice evening of talking about who knows what. Tomorrow is a pumpkin carving contest and bringing Mark back to college, Nicole & Anthony will be winding their way back home too.~*Darlene*~
