    Angry I need a keeper

I Honestly I am a financial moron! First, bankruptcy, secondly DH's car breakdown and subsequent $700 bill we have to cover from DDs savings. Now, I go online to check our second checking account (the one I am responsible for and rarely write anything out of) and find it is overdrawn!

Sheesh. $10, plus the $34 overdraft fee! Great. So I transfer to cover from what is left of our savings account (luckily there is enough). Man, I feel rotten!

    Aw Cheryl, that stinks!

Don't be so hard on yourself.

We've all done it....or at least I have!

    My most recent is.......

I have a checking acct from when I was single. They give me a free visa debit card. Our bank (that dh's business is with & he refuses to leave) charges for one.
I'd deposit money specifically for a purchase that I needed a ccard for.
Then, I got a ccard from this same bank. I needed to buy a couple things on credit & they had 0% interest for like a year. It also works as overdraft protection for the checking acct.

So, a couple weeks ago, I bought some books on Amazon. They save your information on payment methods, etc. When I paid, I didn't pay attention to the method & just saw "checking", so I assumed it was our *normal* acct.....I really need to pay better attention.
Anyway...it was the OTHER checking acct & it went negative & overdrafted $3 to the credit card PLUS a nifty little fee of $10.
I wondered about the fact that it hadn't cleared, but not enough to actually check into it.
So, I get the statement from the cccard & lo & behold....they charged me interest on the stupid $3!!!!!!!!!!!! Sheesh!!!!

The whole thing started because I had a gift certificate for Amazon & the stuff I ordered was only going to cost me the $3.

THEN, DH has to say something *smart* about it to me...as if I didn't already feel like a heel!!!!

    LOL!

    So, it *happens*.................
