hello there!...m
just an intro...
I'm Rachael, SAHM to Ciara(6), Jamie(2), Wife to Declan, we live in Co. Wicklow, Ireland with our 2 kitties Snickers and Mars
We moved house a couple of years ago and slowly financially have been going downhill due to house and car things beyond our control
and the debt has been piling up even though we have done most of the work on the house ourselves
anyway about 6 months ago I really started to research the frugal lifestyle and I cant believe how much we spend on useless things..its become a bit of a competition with myself as to how low I can get the bills each month etc LOL without changing our quality of life.
I am looking into going back to work although with the atronomical cost of childcare here and the fact that DH is in a high tax bracket and would lose alot of his tax free allowance if I do work..we would actually be in minus figures..there is really no incentive to go back to work LOL.
I do sell Avon sporadically, I dont make anything but my commision pays for all our toiletries etc...I also make an awful lot of craft stuff, I make cards, notebooks and various other gifts that I give to people
I am looking forward to finally trying to make a dent in our finances and to get ourselves sorted out for once and all and to seeing those debts decrease
