Hello from Scotland!
Hi everyone,
I'm new to posting although I've been lurking a while. Thought I would jump in and complete the questionnaire!
How did you hear about frugal village?
A poster on another website (unrelated to frugality) recommended this site and especially the forums.
What interests you here?
I am very interested in the debt reduction challenges and strategies. I want to learn more about living a simple life and making the best use of the money we have.
Do you know any other members here?
No.
How many kids? Ages?
We are expecting our first baby in the spring.
Tell us about yourself.
I'm 28, married, American living in Scotland with my fabulous husband. We bought our first house this past spring so my interests have been very home-based: gardening, cooking, baking, decorating. I love crafts like scrapbooking and cross-stitching and really want to learn to knit and sew.
Do you own any pets?
I have a big fat gorgeous 6-year-old cat.
SAHM or Working mom?
Working at the moment because I'm still a mom-to-be. I'm still trying to sort out just how much maternity leave I can take and how much I can reduce my hours once I do need to return to work, because I want to stay home as much as possible with the baby.
Married or single?
Married for 3 years.
Interests and hobbies?
Reading, writing, baking, crafts, reading up on frugal living...
