Default Maybe my house is TOO cold?

I've been on a tear lately to save more. So, since it has gotten cold, I set the thermostats back so the heat doesn't come on except in the evening. Well, I got a glass of green tea this morning with ice, and I just looked at it (3:35 PM) and the ice is still there! LOL!

Maybe I set it back too far!

Yikes! I can't imagine how it would be to be in a house that cold.

When you can make popsicles without a freezer, it's probably too cold and this qualifies, I think!

LOL now go over and read Early Bird's thermal undies thread.

You may wish to invest in a pair or two rather than turning the heat up too high.

Seriously, I put a hat on indoors and wear long woolen underwear and I also like to use a hot water bottle and a blanket when I sit here in teh basement on the computer.

LOL! How low do you have it?

I keep mine at 59* during the day...the only thing that bothers me is my coffee gets cold too quick and I don't like drinking out of plastic thermal cups.
