DH got tired of seeing spiders, so he set off bug bombs in the house.

DH just doesn't like spiders at all.

It was just before we went to town on Saturday:

DH set off bug bombs in our room; hall outside kids' rooms; parlor; rec room; and kitchen/dining room area.

Saturday night, we came home -- had to eat dinner out because of the bug bomb -- and sat outside for 40 minutes to air out the house.

Since then, I have been washing shelves and load after load after load of dishes.

All this because DH didn't like a few spiders in the bathroom.

Aaargh!

YUK! Double YUK! I would be cleaning everything too. Spiders won't hurt you (unless you live in some exotic local) like most insecticides will. Offer to get rid of the spiders for him next time.

me, too, I'd rather pick the spiders up by hand and take them outside rather than have poison all through my house. I hope you have some help with the cleanup, early bird.

i had a spider living in the downstairs bathroom last winter. he stayed under the trash can and ate the ants that wandered in when it rained. i left him alone as long as he stayed in his corner when the light came on.
