Wanted to share this with you: A Scotti update

This is a note her Great Aunt posted. I got her permission to quote it here so everyone who has sent cards or been praying for Scotti coule see it:

"Since yesterday was an OR day, Scotti was irritable most of the day... anesthesia makes her that way, according to the nurse... Her fever spiked but came back down... Still no wound infection (THANK YOU GOD)... Blood cultures and urine analysis done... Nurse said that some burn patients just have a fever with no infection... it is normal for some...Scotti sucks her Boost down really fast to get it over with... she is determined to get well... THE HIGHLIGHT OF HER DAY, EVERYDAY, IS READING HER E-MAILS AND CARDS.... NO MATTER HOW TIRED SHE IS, SHE READS EVERY ONE..... Her faith is so much stronger... They expect a much better day today because no OR or procedures today... she ate only a little bit last night so please continue prayer for appetite as well as for toes and feet... And also for strength for Scotti and family as well... "

Thanks for the update, Kimber. I forgot to post my card until Thursday, Scotti should get it in about 7 days. I hope she continues to improve.

I'm glad that things are going as well as they are. I sent a card Tues, and I'll probably try to send another early next week. Thanks for the update!

Thats great! I put a few packs of stickers in the card I sent hoping she would like them . I'm thinking she might think its cool to get a card from another Augusta even though we are Augusta Wi.
