I'm so upset
The first week in October I bought a Halloween costume on ebay for Jayme and I have not received it. I have emailed the seller with no response and finally filed a claim with paypal.
My baby has no costume
Yea,I could buy another but I wanted this one for her (piglet) noway I'd find one like that now.
I'm so bummed!

Tammy- it really stinks when someone on eBay is a deadbeat. You often get hard-to-find things thee, and it is a real bummer when they don't show up.
I bought a gorgeous diaper on eBay, and the seller never sent it. I didn't care so much about the money- I really wanted that diaper. And the diaper maker even knew who the person was, but of course she couldn't do anyhing about it and didn't have any more of that fabric. I was really upset about it. (It still makes me a little angry, ad that was over 2 years ago.) Luckily, they got booted from eBay soon after.

Oh, that is so frustrating. Overall, 95% of my transactions have been good. As ebay gets bigger, more people are attracted to the site both good and bad... I just hope the good keep outnumbering the bad.
Did you try calling them? You should be able to get their number off ebay.

Yeah, we have been there on the buyer end adn seller end. Dh bought a new attenea for our bought. He paid by M.O.. It was broke and she said it was from PO, well the bos was not damaged in the first place, well she promised to send it out by set date, she said she did not have the money right away??
and then she never sent it back to us. Dh even told her if we did not get a refund by set date, then neg. feedback was going on hers, well we did have to do that. She has many negs. also.
We had one win an auction from us, clearly stating in the auction the time limit to pay and we only take paypal. Well, he did not pay then left us neg. feedback because he did not want to agree to our terms that where clear in the auction. He said it is we where unresonable for our "policy" and demanded payment, yeah, a total cost thingy(
dangit, this word finding "problem" I still have is so frustating). We told him after, he left us neg. if he did not pay and "fix" our feedback, he gets a neg. We wound up giving him a neg. He has several. I mean you buy something or sell something and you expect it to get it, work and have it paid for by the buyer ya know.
We have done well on ebay and just had a few problems here and there but, I guess that is to be expected.
Sorry that this has happened to you.
Well and if you really want Jamye to be "piglet" then can you throw something together, clothes in a "pinky" color, maybe a little hair band like piglet and a curly tail. Granted it won't be the same thing but, will be the same idea.

I havent had to many problems on ebay but it's aggervating when it happens. That costume was *SO* cute and I could just see her in it
She wont care what she wears,Halloween (pumpkins,scarey masks etc) scare her anyways but I was still taking her out,even If I did have to carry her in that heavy thing LOL But I wanted it dang it lol
I also recently bought a wallet and the never got it.I turned her(another lady) into paypal and she had printed one of those shipping labels...well I cant make paypal understand all that tracking says is that the label was printed and that when the post office delivers the item,it says it was delivered,which it does not say!

HUGS I am sorry you didn't get the costume. Luckily I have only been on the bad end of one transaction. I bought a coat for Katie. Paid and she said it was on the way. Then she said she was delayed because of floods from a hurricane last year. She said she was sending. I never got it, never got another response. I was out the money, but I really wanted the coat!

I havent reported her to square trade but I will! I'm still waiting to hear from paypal as well.
She had good feedback ...100%...55 or so....well,her feedback is now private!!

having her feedback at private doesnt install confidence! I'm sorry you didnt get the costume - its very cute! Luckily I've never had a problem on ebay apart from someone that didnt contact me after they won the auction - I just reported her and sold to the next person who had bid..
I hope at least you will be able to get your money back - I know you would rather have the costume though.

I didn't even know you could have private feedback. How ridiculous. I certainly wouldn't buy from ANYONE who had private feedback, even if it was all positive, and most definitely wouldn't touch one with negatives with a ten foot pole.
Looks like she has three negatives now. She'll probably be gone soon....

I buy and sell quite a lot on eBay, and yes, there are some deadbeats out there. What irks me the most is the JUNK people try to pass off on others! They so often mispresent the items. I do try to describe my auctions very accurately and take good photos. Just this past week, I complained to a seller, and she gave me a partial refund. I do think that eBay has a flaw though. When I have a deadbeat buyer, I do not give a negative feedback because they will probably give me one too in retaliation. And it's just not worth it to have those negatives affect my rating when most of my transactions are smooth and painless. (I learned the hard way with 2 deadbeat buyers who gave me negatives.) Now I just figure it's part of business. Most of my sellers and buyers have been great.
