Soon to get dark at 5pm. Woohoo! One of our favorite things to celebrate is when that clock goes back to normal time!
Love that put on the jammies get comfy because your home & in for the night kind of thing.

Don't forget to change your smoke detector/carbon monoxide batteries. While your at it make sure your fire extinguishers are well charged, you do have at least one don't you? If not, make sure you get at least one, they would make a nice gift to yourself or others.

Well, the equinox was a month ago, so we're on the curve of less than 12 hours of sunlight each day. Right now, it's about 11 hours of light.

I like it better when it's light in the a.m. So I'll be glad to get OFF daylight savings time.

It will be dark here around 5 and then as early as 4:30 later on in the winter. I hate it

Also, when you turn your clocks back, check your medicine cabinet for expired medicines and toss!

It gets dark here before 5PM. I was surprised the other night going out to get KFC for dinner around 6PM it was a little dark out. Now changing the clocks back DH will be going to work in the dark & if he works a bit later than usual coming home in the dark.

This was one of his reasons he stopped driving because of all the glare from the headlights would turn into streamers & block his vision a few years ago. He didn't think it was safe enough w/his vision problems (myopic degenneration) to drive even though he'd pass the vision test & thinks people shouldn't be allowed to drive w/that much bad vision legally. It's scarry
