BRRRRR...this has *not* been my month
Our furnace went out last night. Dave tried to fix it when he got home last night to no avail. So last night I wore a tshirt, fleece top to bed with 5 blankets. That wasn't so bad, but when I got up this morning it's 52ΒΊ in here! BRRRRR!
Guess that EF will be going even lower when we have it fixed.

*groan** at the big ticket purchase girl. Hopefully they can get it fixed and its not that expensive. My poor MIL had her furnace go out last winter and it was so cold in her house you could see your breathe! Stay warm!

I know how you feel Michelle, our furnace went completely a few weeks ago and we had to have the whole thing replaced...talk about a big expense that you are not expecting.

We had this happen last year, along with car repairs, & an increase in our insurance payment (we pay for our own). Sometimes it really does seem like "Murphy" has moved in, doesn't it?!
Here's hoping he leaves you all alone now!

Sorry to hear this rotten news. Hoping it's something that can be repaired and you don't need an entire new unit. Either way I know surprise repairs are horrible.

Hope it's a quick inexpensive fix for you and that aggrivating "things" stop popping up.

What a pain. We had to replace our hot water system recently so I feel your pain. I hope it's just a part and not a replacement job.

We FINALLY got in touch with someone at 5:30 after calling back for the 3rd time. Dave told the service that no one called us back, and the operator told him well maybe they don't work on Saturdays. Well hello?? How about giving us someone who IS working today? It's only been 8 hrs since we called you! Geez.
They're coming from South of Boston (we live North of Boston), and we've already been forewarned that it will cost more because it's the weekend.

Aaawww, I'm sorry Chelle. That's the pits. This is the way things seem to go sometimes. Thank goodness (!) you have an EF. You're gonna love not having to charge it or borrow the money to have it fixed.
