Carla, welcome. I remember you from way back in the homeschool forums at fms'. I'm still Margery although I'm chose Canadian Gardener to describe me. Nice to see you again, looking forward to renewing our friendship.
My kids both got their degrees, both BSc's one in Biology the other in Computers with a side order of business this last spring.
Ds is employed in a bank now, as a financial services rep, and Dd hopefully will get the job she thinks she might have, at Sears, will hear soon on that.
They both did a bit of travelling, dd just got back from 2 months in Europe.
I'm an empty nester now. DS moved out for a year, back for 6 months, then gone for the past year or so. His gf whom he planned to marry died of a longstanding illness this spring, so there's been some sadness and grief there.
Dd moved out in August, with a bunch of girls from the church we go to. It's like when Ds moved out the first time, and he and his buddies had the Baptist Boys frat house thing going on. Lot's of fun. The girls are great, and much tidier than the boys were. Just as much fun though.
