I have to be careful what I post...
I am in the final stages of converting DH over to frugality. Now I have to watch out because last night we were talking and DH actually said that when he couldn't sleep Sunday night, he logged on to check out "that Frugal Village site that I'm always talking about." He was already talking about when he wants to use for a user name
I think I hit the jackpot with this man!

Hmm...I see a new aviator and user name coming! My dh doesn't see FV so favorably right now. He flipped out over the weekend when he was tripping over all my stockpile items and searching for clothes amongst all the clothes air drying. Now, I did all this before I found FV, but he told me over the weekend he was going to block FV on the computer. He walks by me and says, "Your on that site again?" Now, everytime I have an idea that he finds extreme, he thinks I got it from FV. The interesting thing is over the weekend he won an ebay auction for a used snowmobile jacket-it matches his snowmobile. He paid $100 for it, and it retails for $400. He was showing me the retail value online, and when he won the auction, he was soo excited. I said, "See, I'm not the only one that comparison shops and shops for bargains." Needless to say, he was at a lost for words. So, right now, I doubt I need to worry about him logging onto FV-yet!

Whoa! I would never expect dh to ever come and check out the Village. He hates message boards or chat so I don't think I have to worry about it. I hope your dh does join and enjoys it here. He does sound like a keeper.

I think mine is getting ready to join too. He's now joined me on the frugal bandwagon and is eager to get ideas.

I show my DH threads and photos and sometimes he sits here on the sofa and talks to me while I'm at FV. He is more frugal than I am.

on your frugal man!
Philip looks over my shoulder and sometimes asks me what's going on. I wouldn't say he's more frugal than me but we usually always agree on what to do.

My dh will occasionally peek over my shoulder. He swears that 'dh' means 'duh' and teases that we all call our husbands 'duh'.

My dh is not really onboard. He mentions frequently that he wants money set aside, but hasn't yet developed the necessary discipline. I think he nickel & dimes himself out of a lot. I've started to plan a little 'meeting' where I'm going to show him the progress I've made over just a few months. Hopefully, he will be sufficiently wow'd.
