Bubble gum stories

Well my youngest was happily blowing bubblegum (from her trick-or-treat bag), when a really big one popped all over her face. She tried to get it off on her own and was a real mess by the time she told me and she had started to cry.
So while I was putting hand cream all over her face and carefully removing the gum. I told her about how when her big sister had gum in her mouth and fell asleep on her bed during the day( she was 4 at the time) and she woke up a half an hour later glued to her pillow!
So my 8 yr. old began to smile. So I continued with my own bubblegum story. I was 10 yrs old and riding my bike. I blew a massive bubble and the wind pushed it against my cheek and popped it over half my face, hair and one eye, eyelash and eyebrow.
By this time my little girl was laughing.

Bad bubblegum stories always involve my long hair. Now I don't chew gum.

I have a bubble gum story about my 4-year-old swallowing too much gum.

I won't go into detail, but he was a very "constipated" little boy who needed a little help and NOW listens to mama when she tells him NOT to swallow his gum!

Yes, a lesson learned by all!
