How often do you entertain?

Philip and I usually have friends over once a week. Someweeks it doesn't work out and some weeks we go to our friends' houses but most often we have friends to our home once a week.

On Sundays we spend the afternoon with my parents and siblings. We try to see my grandparents a couple times a month and Philip's parents once a month (they live 5 1/2 hours away). So sometimes they come here and sometimes we go there

So, how often do you entertain other people or how often are you entertained by others?

At least once a week with friends. Sundays we spend it with the family (usually about 15 of us)

We rarely entertain because I can never get my house where I want it to be! This summer though we ordered pizza and the neighbors across the street came and we sat in the driveway while the kids played. Rednecks we are!

When we were younger we used to entertain once a week. Either a BBQ or a casual dinner. We've never lived near my family so I admire that contact you have with yours Karen and Babymav. I think it does children a lot of good to have contact with their cousins and grandparents.

Now we rarely entertain, mainly because we've got our store which we work at 7 days a week. I'm hoping that will change when we sell it.

I would like to have friends over for lunch about once a month and make homemade pizzas or fresh HM bread with boiled eggs and salad from our backyard. I want to learn how to make beer too, so it would be the ideal taste testing venue for that.

We usually entertain more in the summer than any other time of the year. We usually have a few BBQs with family and friends coming over and we always have a big July 4th party for family. In the fall and winter, we have poker parties every month or so.
