Smile Rhondas post of her home made me want to share

    my house too.

We live next to this "creek" that looks like a river to me, lol. This picture is from google and was taken in April so the trees had not leafed out yet. Rhondas picture was a beautiful and lushfilled wonderland.

I know what you mean about not being able to see your house Laura, this pic is a couple years old I think. Hopefully they will update your area again soon.

Lol Jamee, we lived and a "plain ol' neighborhood" for 9 years and then moved out here 11 years ago. Some of my fondest memories are from living there and having good neighbors all around us. Being a sahm and having neighbors with kids meant lots of visits and chatting over coffee. Now I'm all alone out here, but that's nice too.

What looks like rock behind the house is a wooded hillside and the trees hadn't leafed out yet. Now you can see why I'm talking about all the wildlife I see. Deer, fox, birds...

That google earth is something, have fun with it! Jack & I looked at India the other day. You can take a trip anywhere.

We live around 30 or so miles west of Albany.

Everybody in NY has a different view on what is called Upstate NY. I consider anything outside of New York City upstate, lol.

Forgot to mention that I can't see any neighbors from my home, those other buildings are our shed and the garage.

Darlene, it's great to see that creek from the air. I still have those pics you sent me of it close up. Your home is nicely isolated. No wonder those deer like it too.

Next time you and Jack are on Google Earth, go to Egypt and look at the pyrimids. Oh, and go to NYC and look at the skyscrapers on side view. It's like you're walking down the street.
