Just for fun, what's your clothing style?
Do you prefer to look a bit like Audrey Hepburn crossed with Grace Kelly? Or Jackie Kennedy? the cool classical look.
Or do you just have a love of Goth? (the black clothes, powder white skin, little bits of metal and piercings and the general---just got out of bed ready for another night at the monster mash--- look)
Are you a severe minimalist, whose wardrobe is starkly simple?
Or do you really feel like a transplant from another time? Say Victorian England, or perhaps a bodice ripper novel set in the pirate days of yore?
Jewel tones in satin and velvet with frothings of lace peeking out everywhere.
Perhaps not back in time but forward? A little trekkie perhaps?
Do you wear what you like, or are you an inner trekkie, with an outer shell that says, church going, homemaking, mother of 2 grown up kids, very respectable and very polyester practical?
That was me btw!
But if I had a million dollars and was slim and young I would go for the cool classic look at the top.

I guess my style is stuck in the 80's. At least that's what everyone tells me cause I always wear the bright neon colors, tapered pants, etc.
But I did buy some new pants the other day - they drove me crazy - guess the big legs and the falling down on my hip thing isn't for me. Bye, bye low rise, hip huggers, LOL.
Most of the time you see me walking around with sweats and a big t-shirt on.Mom to DD (10)

The "look" I like is clean, sleek and modern.
The "me" is jeans, cotton khakis, hefty sweaters or neutral turtles (winter), comfy T's in the summer with hiking shorts. Footwear, runners, hiking boots, walking shoes.
I guess I look like a naturalist (just need a pair of binoculars and a bird book in one hand) LOL.
The problem I have is what to wear to church. I just want to wear "me" clothes but I look out of place in the choir.LOL

When going out, I am the cool classical gal. Love that look that never goes out of style.
At home or going to the grocery store etc.... Jeans, t's, sweatshirts or sweaters and either running shoes or loafers.
I'm not as bad as I used to be. I used to iron everything before I would leave the house in it. Now I will wear things without ironing first. LOL~~ Dee ~~

I like to be comfortable yet classic. Jeans, nice tops, sweats. I have to dress business/office for work..so there it's slacks/sweaters/tops/skirts/dress shoes. I like to dress in basic colors and simple designs..nothing too flashy.
I do wear makeup..but only neutral tones and I like to dress modestly.

Oooooh, this could be such a fun post.

My style is a cross between goth and hippie.
My clothes are almost completely black or red/burgandy, with perhaps a splash of blue to appease my husband. I wear long, flowing skirts, bell sleeve shirts, stockings, knee-high high heeled boots or sandals (NEVER sneakers or shoes), homemade mesh gloves, silver jewelry (I don't like gold -- the only gold jewelry I wear is my wedding rings), chokers, black eyeliner and blackened lipstick (re: I wear a nice shade of lipstick and then I "blacken" it with a black eyeliner crayon), keep my skin clear and covered in SPF 50 at all times, and keep my nails short with dark red or black polish. I also have a spider tattoo. Hee hee, even my apron is black.
I'll post some pics if anyone wants to see me. I love laces, velvets, spiders, homemade jewelry and clothes and I try to make as much as I can. I'm teaching myself how to sew, so it's a steady process. And it's hard to find nice gothish fabric that isn't from the Hallowe'en bin at the fabric discount stores.

I'm a very "comfy" dresser too. I like classic styles for dress up occaissions and wear some black and khaki things but most of the time you can find me in sweat pants and sweatshirts or fleece of somekind during the winter and in the summer it's shorts, tees and sandals or flip flops around the house and town. I do dress up more if I'm going into town (the next town over). I always do my hair and makeup and keep my nails fixed with a basic, home done french manicure most of the time.

Sigh. My look says, "MOM." Even for church, I wear things that WILL WASH WELL!
denim skirts
turtleneck shirts
pullovers
knit pants
knit skirts
knit shirts
clog-type shoes
loafers
When I was young, I had some kick-ass outfits:
A linen-like ivory suit with a peplum top. Made my waist look THIS big <holding hands 2 inches apart>.
A grey flannel flare skirt that I wore with a silk blouse and black knee-high boots.
A wool blend dress in winter-white.
A sage-colored linen-blend skirt that went with absolutely EVERYTHING!
I even had 2 cashmere sweaters -- ivory and light blue.
Lovely taupe pumps that made my legs look longer.
All in size 4!
Since I have a small waist compared to my hips, I find skirts a lot more comfortable than pants.2012 Knitting in progress

I watch NCIS just to see the goth cutie. I just love her attitude and her outfits. She is fun. Naderbug, I'm imagining you a lot like her now, complete with the web tat.
I could NEVER wear that, but I really love it when people express something that comes from inside, that really says who they are or even who they want to be.
It's like art only the canvas is the clothing and style choice.

My clothing style is simple, comfortable, and this time of year...WARM

I'm all about comfy jeans (LOVE Lee's Ultimate 5), tshirts with funny sayings, or sweater/sweatshirt. I'm not a big dress/skirt person. I'll wear them during the summer...if nothing else is clean LOL. I'm all about comfort.
As for colors, I like darker colors. Not much black though. I like dark blue, dark red, some pinks. I don't do many different colors, just because my red hair tends to make them look like crap on me LOL.

Beach bum casual - lots of surf brands. I prefer denim shorts and comfy tees (I tend to go for navy, greens, black, reds).

I present the conventional middle-aged woman look to the world when underneath I'm a collection of conflicting unconventional madness. LOL!
I always wear natual cotton or linen, always dresses or skirts, never jeans or slacks. My colours are green, blue, white, taupe and sometimes purple, mauve or black. I like touches of red.
Nada, I would love to see pictures of you.
Like Margery, I like the goth look.

I my mind I'm Jackie or Audrey but when it comes to actually getting dressed I end up in jeans and a button down shirt. I also love the boho look but I'm to broke to go shopping for any style clothing right now (also to BIG).

Pic 1
This is a pic of my tattoo, on my right shoulderblade. As you can see, I don't always wear black. The outfit is a blue swimsuit DH picked out for me.
