    Default Time out as you guys say?

    Thank you to all who missed me! I was very touched, really it made my day!

    I did wonder how to explain my absence, well first of all I have had health issues which have curtailed my normal activities  for a number of weeks  but that's not the only reason.

    To be honest some weeks ago there were a number of threads that I found disturbing, not the threads per se, rather the responses that were posted.

    I am not going to say more than that

    There are times when you just KNOW that getting in to a huge debate isn't an option and there will always be  some subjects that crop up that will be controversial.....................

    So I decided to take some time out & see how I felt..............

    We all deal with things like that in our own way, I know I am NOT like everyone else and I have a tendency to take everything too personally, knowing my shortcomings helps but  as my Doctor once said to me, just because you KNOW you have a tension headache doesn't mean you can make it go away

    The FV has had a big impact on my life ( in a good way) and behind the scenes I have been busy working on projects for some Frugal Village members.

    I have never been able to get e mail through the site ( for some reason) and Dh says that it is because of our spam blocker so if anyone has sent an E mail I haven't received it sorry

     

    Rest assured  I would ALWAYS reply to any PM/E Mail or any other communication I get, I would crawl over broken glass to reply to anyone who was kind enough to write to me!

    I am also happy to give out my everyday  E mail address if asked.

    I still do my "experiments" but I am never sure if it's worth posting them as I only get the odd person saying they will try it, but if they do actually try it, I don't get to find out what they think! which is frustrating, but again, there is always something going on  in our house that involves saving time/space or money

    I have just spent the last week in the "Lake District" which is a VERY beautiful part of England that not many  foreign tourists get to see, so I shall get the pictures organized and will post them as soon as I can.

    Karen, I'm so glad to see your post. I'm sorry you've had health issues to deal with, and I hope you'll be feeling well soon. I have missed your posts and learning from your experiments. I admire you for trying new things and posting your findings. It takes courage to put your ideas out for others to read and judge. I have learned from you and really enjoyed your sense of humor. Please post again when you can.

    Hi Karen, glad to see you posting again. I know you didn't go into detail, but I think at times everyone comes across some posts or replies that we find somewhat "disturbing" or something of the like. I love to come here to chat with and learn from people all over the world and I think you make a great addition here. Hope to see more of you again.
