    Default UPDATED - I'm nervous

    I'm sitting here waiting for my DH to phone. The potential buyers of our store are there today, they arrived an hour ago and are looking to see if they want to buy it. We've spent the past couple of days tidying everything and making sure everything is as it should be.

    I want the phone to ring so bad! I'm a bit nervous and I can't do anything else until I find out what they said.

    Maybe I should go and declutter my underwear drawers.

    Rhonda,

    The waiting is the absolute worse. Whatever happens, it was meant to be. If they buy it, that will be fabulous, but if they don't maybe you'll end up getting a better offer. I once had 9 job interviews,and it was the 9th job that offered me employment. Some of the others, I wasn't interested in, and they didn't select me either. The last one turned out to be the best one and the one with the best pay. However, I it sure wasn't easy having 8 doors slammed in your face. So, it will all work out.

    Ahem, it looks like we've got a buyer! They had two hours with DH, she asked to come back tomorrow to look over the computer work and to meet a couple of our suppliers. The real estate agent just phoned and told DH that they aren't interested in any other properties now, only our store. They had been looking at two others.

    I'm so happy. Thanks everyone. DH will ask her straight out tomorrow if they will buy it, but he feels 90% sure they will.
