Default I don't know if this counts but....

As you know I had my purse stolen today and had a really lousy day because of it. My wallet had almost all my grocery money that was left for Nov. I also had to cancel all my CCs and get a new license etc, etc. But I still needed milk!. So when I went to the bank I had taken out $10 & that is all I have for grocery money for NOV!

I then went into the store (which has very good milk prices), and one of the employees came up to me. She asked if I was the woman who had the purse stolen this morning. I said yes. She said they found the purse. They went looking for it and found it half a block away! They found the wallet a short distance from the purse with all the cards strewed around. They gave me everything. The money was missing and so were the Credit cards (thankfully I had them all cancelled) but my ID was there! And library card etc. So now I will get duplicate ID but at least I know my ID wasn't going to be used for identity theft. I was so choked up that they had cared enough to do that.

THEN the woman said the store felt really bad about what had happened. They recognize me as a regular customer and they wanted to give me something. So they gave me a box which contained a gallon of milk and the vegetables I was going to buy, except fresh ones (I had selected mine from the discount bin) AND they threw in a box of mandarins!!!!!!!! WOW! I didn't know what to say. It was so unexpected! But they have me as a customer for life!!!!!

What a kind thing for the store to do. I am so happy that they found your purse and ID but I am sorry that your cc and money was gone. Hang in there, brighter days are coming for you.
