Hi all!
It is as windy in your neck of the woods as it is in The Ozarks today? Alex is sick so we are staying home today. She is still in bed as I type. I will let her sleep as long as she can. Poor kid. This should give me a chance to get caught up on house work.
Or maybe just a good book. I thought I'd get dinner going early. Hmmm what to cook? We have a fire going in the stove and the wind is whiping around right now. Yikes! Have a warm and wonderful day everyone.

I was just about to post something similar.
We had bad wind here last night that woke me up around 3:15 or so and kept me awake for most of the early morning.
It's not that windy right now, but every once in a while a gust blows thru.

Here too! It sounds like the house is going to blow away! We also got our first snow.
Hope Alex feels better!

Marcia it was that way here yesterday and into the night. It blew in some very cold weather. We began the day yesterday at 60 and it went down to 26 by this morning. Our old house is still very leaky with drafts --- I think I felt them all last night!
Have a warm cozy day by the stove!~~Jean~~

Last night the wind was blowing so hard that Isabel kept complaining she couldn't sleep. It's still blowing this morning but not as bad. The winds have brought a lot of cooler weather with them too.
