    Default Act of kindness.........

I stopped in the local grocery to get some 2 liter pepsi that were on sale. I got 4 2-liters and a loaf of bread. Was in line, cashier was waiting on someone that ran to their car for change........needed 19cents......... so instead of holding line up I gave her the money. The lady came back in and said that she didnt have any more change..... cashier said it was taken care of. Lady thanked me and left with her purchase. As I was checking out, lady in line behind me.......put her items on belt and told cashier to bag mine and ring hers up also........that she was paying!!! What a nice gesture. I thanked her and went on home with my purchase. There are good people in this world.

Woah! You must have been walking on air after that.
I have done that sort of thing countless times but nobody ever did something like that for me!
I have paid for people who were short under a doller in grocery stores and at a sandwich counter before. I also have given others a quarter for the shopping cart and told them to pass it on hopefully they did. A couple of months ago I paid $2 for a woman who was 2$ short for a business suit she was buying. at Value Village. She was pleading with the cashier saying she really needed it for her new job which she started the next day.....I felt awful for her so I paid the rest of her bill.
But I have never been rewarded for that sort of thing.....you must have had an angel shopping with you!
What did you say to her????????
