    Default Other than cooking...

What do you have yet to do to get ready for Thanksgiving?

I have to try to conquer Mt Wash-ington (my laundry pile). Nowhere in the house to hide it and it's foothills.

I have to clean the floors.

Get more surfaces cleaned off for food prep and "buffet style" serving.

I'd like to get some problem areas under control too in the living room and the baby/computer room.

I don't have a clue if anyone is comming, but just in case DH has invited anyone, I thought I had better get on top of it before hand.

We're going to my sil's this year, so all I need to do is bake some brownies and a frozen pie

Nothing really - we are going to our neighbors - so there is no reason to worry too much about my house.

Nope. Just 3 of us so low key, no fuss dinner. We are doing a group project, lol...making an apple pie together. Should be fun!

Get the house cleaned for sure. I've already printed out some coloring pages, mazes, and dot to dots and bound them for the grandkids so they have something to do so cleaning is what's left.

    Oh my, I need to
-put away laundry (I am notoriously bad at this part, like to wash, hate to put away)
    -vacuum again
    -wipe bathroom sink area
-draino the tub drain (had to stand in about 2 inches of water last shower; eww)
    -straighten front entrance area
    -straighten living den area
-make sure to shut the door to the office area I've decided I just can't do it all this year, and no one needs to be in there anyway, I'll just shut the door and put my energy into other tasks

Still have lots of tidying up to do too --- but then its only the four of us. No company coming. BUT, I'd like to have things tidy for our holiday meal.

Freesia, I hate to put laundry away too --- what a pain.

Nothing here, going to sil for dinner. I am making a pie and have to run to the store for some ice cream and whipped cream to take.

    No guest for me....lol...

Not much here-- going to my parents' house for lunch, and my MIL's house for supper. Won't be anyone coming here that I know of, and, the house is already relatively clean anyway so if anyone does come by we'd be fine.
