    Default I recieved a RAOK in the mail!

    I was so very happy today because of Ds accomplishments and so I walked to our mailbox with more happiness than trepidation (like I have been lately). I opened our group box and there were......bills plus a kEY. The key is to open the "parcel" box. I was so excited!

    It was from a village angel!!!!!

    She sent us a party in a box! There are special cookies, chocolates and hotchocolate! Everything for our planned little celebration for my son this afternoon.

    We had a wonderful party . The children blew up some balloons. My Dds made Ds a "Congratulations" card. We ate and drank treats from our "angel".
    Dd played "for your a jolly good fellow".

    Then Ds offered to give me the $10 he earned for food . I guess he felt grown-up but it made me want to cry.
    I just hugged him and said no thank-you. I said" But sweetie we have enough to eat" and he look reassured. Sheese I thought I was doing so well and minimizing the impact on the kids. But they know.

    The children then performed their favourite pieces for me. I just didn't feel so light hearted anymore.
