    How did you hear about frugal village?

    A friend and I have been looking for a new "home" and she found this place for us.

    What interests you here?

    Frugality/finances, gardening, homesteading, sewing....um, everything?

    Do you know any other members here?

    Just my friend who should be doing an intro soon.

    How many kids? Ages?

    5 total (4 boys, 1 girl): Cody (12), Isaac (9), Charlie (5), Duke (3), and Nellie (6 months)

    Tell us about yourself.

    Hmm... Tidbits: I'm an idiot but I like being an idiot. I homeschool the kids. We bought some land 2 years ago--with a crappy trailer already on it which we have unaffectionately named "The Armpit". We started building a new house here last summer. And by that, I mean *we* are *building* it, bit by bit, scrap by scrap. We hired out the initial tractor work but have done everything else ourselves and with a tiny bit of help from suckers, err, I mean friends and neighbors who happened to stop by for a visit at the wrong time. I'm a gardening freak. I'm a sewing nut. I'm a crocheting wacko. I love to cook (but not in The Armpit). Oh, and my kids take turns waking up at various hours of the night so I never get any sleep. It's a conspiracy.

    Do you own any pets?

    4 cats (Scrappy, Splat, Frank, and Riger), 1 dog (Zippy) and, if you count the ones that we eat and/or do work for us, several chickens, hogs, and Spock The Wonder Goat.

    SAHM or Working mom?

    SAHM

    Married or single?

    Married. (Did ya really have to remind me??)

    Interests and hobbies?

    Learning everything there is to know, as is required by my future job title: "Queen of the World, Ruler of the Universe".
