    Default Has the price of bleach risen in your area?

    Ours sure has. Seems to me that, a year ago, a gallon of generic bleach was $0.99. I just bought generic bleach this week: $1.39/gallon.

    So, the price went up by 40%.

    Am I calculating that correctly?

    i grocery shop only at meijers & it seems to me that they are the lowest cost grocery store around my area. the meiejrs rband bleach is $1.19 & the "clorox" bleach is $1.67. i normally buy the generic because bleach is bleach....lol1!!!

    I haven't noticed a rise in the price of bleach...yet!

    I get mine at the Dollar Store. Need to pick up 5 today or tomorrow.
    I go through a ton of it now we have the cow. need it to sterilize the pails and things.

    Absolutely has here, just about the same prices as you mentioned.

    It has here too. I paid 0.99 for it a couple of weeks ago and when I purchased the same bleach, same store just 2 weeks later I paid $1.29.
