A surprise RAOK
My Dsis dropped off a few boxes of what I thought was homeschool books/supplies lent to me by a homeschool friend. My friend lives far from here but her Dh was coming to town so she said she would send down some books to borrow which I need. Especially math texts etc. Well he dropped them off at my Dsis who lives in the city, but Dsis didn't get out here for a while because of the snow. Well Dsis finally made it.
Yes, there were the books she promised but there was also 2 big boxes of food!!!!. There was everything I needed for Chirstmas baking (choc. chips., bakers choc., sugar, icing sugar, baking pwder and soda, cocoa etc....)! There was also soups, tuna, crackers etc... There was even FANCY food, dijon mustard, salsa, oysters, MARMALADE, earl grey tea etc and a BIG can of COFFEE!!!!!
She also put $20 in a card for "other needed things".
I will have no problem meeting my Grocery budget this month with all this extra food.
Praise God for angels disguised as friends.
