We still don't have our tree up!

Dh has said no tree until the girls clean. Well, now it's clean, but still no tree. He says he's not "into it" this year. I can't put it up by myself. I feel like we are cheating the girls sort of. I have the stockings out. Maybe I will just get out the little tree we let them decorate and let that be it. Doesn't really matter how big it is does is?

I know this isn't what Christmas is all about, but I want them to be excited and enjoy the season.

I'd get the little tree out and let them decorate it, since your DH did say they could have a tree once they cleaned.

DEFINITLEY get the tree out and let them decorate - they kept up their end of the deal.

Don't feel too bad - the tree is the ONLY thing we have up!! My kids are getting a little worried about Santa since there are no stockings hanging!

Yep, I agree, they did what they were told to, so the tree should come out.

I don't have any decorations at all up either, but then again, I don't have children. Jack is a Scrooge, LOL, but if I had kids, the house would be transformed at this time of year.
