    I like fruitcake too.My mother always made it herself.Half of the family liked it and half didn't.I have her recipe now and hope to make it next year.That will be a big undertaking as there are 7 of us siblings!I'll just make an ingredient list and buy when things are on sale and put in freezer if necessary.

    I like fruitcake. Last year I made an orange slice cake which was very good and tasted like a fruitcake.

    I have my Christmas cake ready for eating. The fruit has been soaked in brandy for 7 days and it's topped with nuts and cherries. YUM!

    I like it too. It just seems to make it feel like Christmas. Of course with enough brandy it could make it feel like just about anything, LOL.
