Do you make your teen take pictures with Santa?
I was laughing when I found out that his parents made him (15 1/2 yr. old cousin & in 10th grade) take a picture with Santa at the mall. I was like, "Aren't you a little old to be taking a picture with Santa" If I was still a teen, I'd want to curl up in a hole and die if any of my friends saw me getting a picture with Santa. :blush I can understand, why his parents made him since he has 3 younger siblings ages 13 1/2, 7 and 5 and wanted the whole sibling clan in the picture and it's something they do EVERY year. But, I feel he should be able to make a choice if he wants to be in the picture with Santa and younger siblings.

As long as there were younger children in the house who still believed in Santa- yes, I made them get their pictures taken.
They also told Santa their gift wishes. None of mine complained, but most of their friends had younger brother and sisters as well.

No, and my dd is only nine. She knows there is no Santa, and I would not make her climb on a strange man's lap.

My kids have never been on Santas lap. They have always been afraid of him & I never pushed them. Feel bad when parents make their young ones go & do this, some kids are terrified.

As for the teen, nothing wrong in standing near Santa for the holiday pic. Wouldn't make him sit on Santa's lap though.
Me, I almost always wave to Santa whe I walk by him and don't care who sees, lol.~*Darlene*~

I didnt take the kids pics with santa, but I bought them each a santa hat and had them pose together and seperately for xmas photos. I was really suprised my 14 year old wore the hat and actually took great pics. (he is a boy) and actually had alot of poses. I had to give my 7 year old a quarter for every smile....... he was being stubborn. His session cost me $1.75 Kaylee, my 9 year old, she had a ball posing and took great pics too. Her is a link to our pics.
