Going to the ER
Well, since Monday evening I have had a horrible toothache! I finally gave in and decided to go to the dentist, but he can't get me in until the Jan. 2!! We only have one dentist in town. They suggested I go to the ER, so I am. I think I have an abcessed tooth. I am in some horrible pain. Hopefully they will give me something.

nothing hurts worse than in infected tooth...ouch! if the antibiotics that they give you doesn't relieve the pain...tke a q-tip & swab some tea tree oil on your gums...this has a numbing affect and it lasts longer than oragel or ambesol (try not to swallow the stuff)....also when I couldn't make it to the dentist for an abscess....I took goldenseal root pills...that helped some(do not take goldenseal root if you are pregnant)

big hugs, I agree with many houseapes advice. It is the infection causing the pain, hope your meds work fast and you are feeling better.

Well, the on call doc prescribed an antibiotic and something for the pain. So far I am not feeling any of the effects of the medicine, but it is still early!!
I'm just ready to be able to sleep and eat again! Since Monday night I have had 12 hours of sleep! I am physically exhausted! Nothing to eat!!!
Thanks for the prayers and good thoughts. Please keep them coming!!

I know your pain. I had an abcess in the earlier part of the year and it was awful. I am glad the doc prescribed you some antibiotics and pain meds. Praying you get to feeling better soon.~*Michelle*~
