New to all the homemaking aspects of life
Hello!!
I am Tami, age 29, married ten years to dh, mom of two-ages 7 and 9. I work full-time outside the home, and I haven't had much experience or time in the kitchen or on housework.
I desire to be a keeper at home as God's word states in Titus 2, but for now I must work. Two of my goals this year are to 1-declutter my home, and 2-learn how to cook basics and use my deep-freeze for cooking ahead. We eat out way too often!!
I am looking for any suggestions or guidance that may be available.
Feel free to contact me at yahoo messenger id: mdkj9698 or msn messenger id mdkj9698@yahoo.com (yes yahoo).
Thanks so much,
Tami

Welcome Tammy. The first thing about the kitchen is get a good basic cookbook like the joy of cooking or fanny farmers. The second thing to remember is that it takes practice so that if you make something and end up not liking it, thats ok, just try something else.

Hi Tami, and Welcome. Good to see a fellow Oklahoman.
Practice, practice, practice!! I have a few things I cook really well, but I also still keep trying new things. If they don't work then I either try it a different way or try something else. No one is born knowing how to cook, it's acquired. Chin up!
Bring on them baby steps...
Step 1: done
Step 2: waiting on amount, hubby had followup colonoscopy, I had visit to ER with followup procedure
Step 3: to follow, won't know aim until things settle
Step 4: to follow, currently at 6%
Step 5: grown child
Step 6: huge mortgage ANNIHILATED!!
Step 7: ahhhh....
