hello, i am also new here
Hello, I am new to this site, but not new to frugal living. I am a sahm to Skeyla (5yrs next week). I am always looking for ways to simplify, well, basically everything, lol. I am always looking for ways to save on, also, everything. I like to, (try to), use homemade cleaning supplies that i get online, and have been able to come up with some good meals on little money. I am proud of myself for saving at Christmas this year (as is my husband). My daughter is learning to write and bought her a writing tablet, pack of colorful pencils, pencil sharpener, learn to write book (shows how to write letters and #'s and gives room to do so), and safety scissors, 1 outfit and story book, all from the dollar store, and she loved it all. I figure she gets enough toys from other family members, and i would get her something to help with her journey to learning. I spent $20-$25 dollars for her, the only thing she missed was her barbie "stuff" which she is getting for b-day, also from the dollar store, gotta love that place! I am looking forward to the ideas, suggestions, etc from other frugal persons like myself. Sorry this is so long, i tend to ramble on.
