Hope Katie comes to your home very soon and you can start just loving her! I dont know the "jacket" story but once someone gives you a living breathing creature and you start to love it they just can NOT take it back, no matter what. If she decided she wants the dog back, just say no and shut the door! LOL!!
Have fun with the puppy and enjoy. We had beagles and they are great little dogs. Stubborn and sometimes a real pain, but so loving that you just had to love them back!

Katie hasn't made it to our home and because of some issues (human, not canine) it looks like she won't be, we are quite upset. However the kids and I have decided that we will actively seek out a perfect addition to adopt into our family. We are going to look for specifically a beagle. But are open to "just the right doggie"
