New AF Wife in Washington
Hello, my name is Cassie.. Boards like this scare me so I hope that I can keep up I really dont know how to work them so I always avoid them..
Anyways, I am a 23 year old SAHM/SAHAFW. I have two girls Nadia who is 4 and Cheya who just turned 19 months yesterday.
My husband serves in the AF, which itself cause stress on the family.. But it is worth it in the long run. I may scare you all, but I am Biopolar, server anixty, ADD with slight case of ADHD, manic depression which is Biopolar I know but the is what the dr labeled me as. and I have slight OCD, when it comes to perfection. I try to be out going and have fun, but sometimes I run myself into the ground and start to hide and let things go. which I no longer want to do.. I had a nervous breakdown in Aug and since then been climbing the rocky and slipper steep mountain.. I do have my falls but I am trying to learn from them.. The only thing my husband expects of me is to keep the house tidy, not spotless but presentable. I do pretty well with that cept My two hotspots (FL term) my desk and my bar.. I sometimes get behind on dishes but I try to tackle them.. My sink is super tiny so a few dishes fills it up.. My biggest hatrid is LAUNDRY.. I will wash and dry, but I hate bring it up the stairs and folding it and putting it away.. Not my cup of tea but I need to start cause I am tired of going downstairs and getting something to wear in the HUGE pile on the table and it si super wrinkly and ugh. Clutter cause my anixty to rise sky high and I need to get rid of it and stay on top of it... Ummm Okay as you see I am a hermid, but not really. I am involved with the Church on base aka Chapel. I got to Sunday service, PWOC bible study, and we have MOPS there which I am on the steering team. Nadia is in preschool and she goes two days a week for 2 hours each. I cant wait til it is longer.. anyways I think that is all of me.. Anything else you want to know just ask.. Oh I am looking for an accountability partner to keep me going.. and any tips on how to work this board..

Hi Cassie, welcome to the Village!
If you need help with anything, just holler.
What a lovely looking family you have,so nice to meet you.
One thing that helps me get those dreaded chores done is to do them first thing before I hop on the computer & come here. It's sort of like a reward for myself and I can relax knowing it's not all still there for me to do.~*Darlene*~

Hi, Cassie, and welcome!
Don't be worried about scaring any of us off- several of us here have issues, too. (Like me, for instance- I suffer from panic attacks and SAD, as well as possibly a little OCD, although my last {bad bad bad} doctor was very flippant about that diagnosis.)
We'll try not to scare you off.
Thanks for sharing the picture- I always love to see the people I am meeting online. Your littlest one looks SO much like my niece did when she was that age.
I'm a crummy housekeeper, so you have that on me- I don't think I can keep you accountable because I can't even keep myself accountable yet, but I think at least some of my anxiety comes from clutter, too, so I will be right there with you working on it. SH and I have finally decided we just need to get rid of about half of what we have and then things will be good- I started in the pantry (AGAIN!) yesterday and need to get back to it. It is too late for donations this year, but I should be able to get a BIG tax deduction next year- LOL!
Anyway, I've been babbling a lot today. Glad to have you here!!!
